2022: Announcement of a smart desk with built-in monitor and Lumina Desk's own OS

On August 11, 2022, Lumina introduced the Lumina Desk, which is positioned by the manufacturer as a "perfect working device for efficient work."

A distinctive feature of the smart table is the 24-inch OLED display built into the case, located directly between the monitor and the user's keyboard. This display can contain widgets, messages on social networks, stock quotes and other information relevant to the table owner.

Lumina Desk runs on its own operating system Lumina OS, which is compatible with both Windows and macOS, the company also provides an SDK for creating custom applications. The display is not touch-sensitive, and it is configured using a separate application.

On the entire surface of the table, you can charge gadgets using wireless charging up to 200 W. The table also features six USB-C ports, six outlets hidden in the cable storage bay, as well as two wireless charging panels that are also hidden and built into the table surface.

It also provides functions aimed at maintaining health: a timer that monitors how long the user is sitting or standing, a reminder to periodically take breaks, as well as the ability to schedule the table transition time from sitting to standing mode. The table software also provides for various situations, for example, if the user is in a state of communication over a video call, the table may not perform some functions, the activation of which may interfere with communication.

The price of a smart desk has not been revealed. Official pre-orders are not available, but interested parties can sign up for notices on Lumina's website as its launch nears.^[1]
