2022: Application in special operation in Ukraine

For August 2022, the calculations of the Tor-M2 air defense system of the Western Military District cover the allied forces in the Kharkov and Slavic directions from air attacks. Since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine in 2022, the complexes have shot down a huge number of air targets from aircraft to drones and rockets.

"Tor-M2" has repeatedly saved ground units of the RF Armed Forces from massive missile attacks on headquarters, warehouses and personnel deployment points. The characteristics of the complex allow you to detect and accompany four dozen targets at once at a distance of more than 30 kilometers, as well as fire right on the go.

"Tor-M2" showed itself in other directions: in particular, during the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to capture the Snake Island, vehicles installed on board the ships of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed dozens of targets, including Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones.

For its high characteristics, even before the start of hostilities, the Tor was called the "target shooting machine." A special military operation confirmed that such a pretentious title was given to the complex quite deservedly.

Application in Syria

The product also successfully proved itself in Syria, hitting drones and missiles that militants launched at the Russian Khmeimim airbase.
