2022: Device Announcement

In mid-August 2022, InMotion introduced the InMotion V13 Challenger electric monowheel. The maximum speed is declared as the highest in the market of such transport.

The mono wheel is designed to ensure the fast and stable operation of electric vehicles, while conveniently carrying them or storing them at their destination, and not locking them outdoors like a bicycle. The devices have similar characteristics to most typical electric bicycles and scooters, the industry is gradually developing faster and more powerful electric monowheels that expand the limits of power and speed.

World's fastest monowheel released

InMotion V13 Challenger is the latest in a long line of increasingly powerful electric unicycles from InMotion. A powerful motor requires a high-capacity battery, and V13 provides this thanks to a 3,024 Wh battery. V13 operates at an extremely high voltage in the 126 V. system. Such a high operating voltage helps it reach a power of 4.5 thousand. Tue (6 hp). Peak capacity is a mind-blowing 10 thousand. Tue (13.3 hp).

With this power of the 22-inch wheel, the electric unicycle reaches a speed of 140 km/h. Wheel lift speed is the maximum speed of the unicycle wheel without load when the device rises into the air. It is higher than the actual maximum speed when driving on a flat surface, but is a useful metric used in industry to compare electric unicycles. The actual operating maximum V13 speed is likely to exceed 90-100 km/h. The total weight of the device is 50 kg.

To ensure safety at high speeds, the V13 is equipped with a 90 mm (3.5 in) suspension. This should come in handy when the device runs over bumps at high speed. In addition, the monowheel is equipped with a touch screen for choosing options, two ports for fast charging, a USB-A port and a USB-C port for powering small devices such as charging the phone, as well as a handle for moving the device near the operator when it is not in active motion.

The retail price of InMotion V13 will be $4.6 thousand. Buyers who pre-order can take advantage of a significant discount by lowering the price to $3,999.[1]
