On August 17, 2022, the Kronstadt company announced the production and supply of Inokhodets unmanned aerial vehicles. We are talking about a contract concluded with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Pacer" can accelerate to 200 km/h and be in the air for a day, carrying on board up to four air-to-ground missiles with a total weight of up to 250 kg. The drone can take to the air for 7.5 km. Orion is also designed to carry out aviation work related to air patrol, monitoring and aerial photography.

According to TASS, by mid-August 2022, specialists from Kronstadt JSC are working on equipping Orion drones with an electronic warfare system. The export version of the UAV is called Orion-E, and for the Russian army - Pacer.

In early March 2022, it was reported that the calculation of the Inokhodets unmanned aerial vehicle of the Russian Military Space Forces liquidated the command and observation post of the Aydar battalion on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic. Then it was noted that the object was destroyed by controlled aviation ammunition. The personnel shows the observation post exploding on the ground.

At the end of 2021, Kronstadt announced the construction of a serial production plant for unmanned aerial vehicles in Dubna (Moscow Region). Investments in the construction and launch of the plant were estimated at more than 4 billion rubles. The area of ​ ​ the enterprise is 45 thousand square meters. m. According to the company, it was planned to use about 1.5 thousand people in the new production. Kronstadt annually intended to allocate 900 million rubles to the state budget.
