2022: Creating a Battery
A group of scientists from the University of Surrey have developed an interesting technology. This became known on August 4, 2022.
We are talking about a photo-rechargeable system created by specialists with perovskite solar elements. It is reported that thanks to a special technology for combining parts, the system demonstrates a high energy and volume density, comparable to modern micro-batteries and supercapacitors.
At the same time, it is reported that in just 30 seconds in sunlight, such batteries can charge enough to increase the battery life of "smart" devices by tens of minutes.
According to scientists, the technology they developed will be useful in creating wearable gadgets that work without recharging for a long time[1]
