2022: Delivery of the first batch of Ilifia portable monitor

The Yusontek company, the developer of the Ilifia portable monitor for remote diagnostics of pregnant women, delivered the first batch of devices to the A.K. Eramishantsev City Clinical Hospital. The device is suitable for use both in hospitals and at home. This was announced on August 18, 2022 by the Skolkovo Foundation.

The decision to purchase was made by the management of the medical institution after the successful piloting of the device. The Ilifia device is used in medical practice for cardiotocography (CTH), assessing the functional state of the fetus and choosing pregnancy management tactics.

The appearance of such a device will help us a lot. This innovation will allow timely identification of threatening fetal conditions and decide on further pregnancy management tactics. This problem is especially relevant in a pandemic, when social distance is required while maintaining expert control,
said Olga Nugumanova, obstetrician-gynecologist, head of the day hospital of the City Clinical Hospital named after A.K. Eramishantsev.

The principle of operation is based on recording KTG using two miniature sensors, a mobile recorder the size of a smartphone and transmitting results for decoding to a doctor on the Internet. The technology of the Skolkovo resident can be used both in clinics and for remote monitoring of pregnancy at home, which is very important in an unfavorable epidemiological situation.

"Ilifia" helps a woman feel more calm, protected and confident both at home and in the perinatal center. The Skolkovo Foundation supported Yusontek in the development of prototypes, testing a medical device and entering the market. We hope that the KGT monitor of our resident will be used by pregnant women everywhere in our country,
added Yulia Shcheglova, senior project manager of the Skolkovo Foundation's biomedical technology cluster.

For August 2022, expensive stationary equipment is used to obtain a KTH record in many clinics. Accordingly, a pregnant woman needs to constantly visit a medical center, which can create additional stress and danger to the fetus in a pandemic.

The use of a portable CTH monitor will significantly reduce the risks of pregnancy with pathologies and reduce perinatal mortality rates, since it helps the doctor to monitor the condition of the fetus at any time where the patient is not located and makes it possible to timely adjust the tactics of pregnancy management in case of any deviations.
told Pavel Nagulin, General Director of Yusontek.
