The I-Teco company announced on August 26, 2010 a successful project startup on rendering outsourcing services based on own data center TrustInfo for the decision maker, largest in Europe, on information security, Kaspersky Lab.
In connection with rapid development in the market, expansion of the park of the equipment and lack of the free areas in own data processing center, Kaspersky Lab company made the decision on transfer of the server hardware in external commercial DPC. The data center TrustInfo received the appreciation of experts of customer company in terms of technical parameters and engineering infrastructure. Besides, the specifics of business of Kaspersky Lab demand from DPC not only ensuring continuity of work of corporate IT resources, but also a possibility of the solution of specific tasks. TrustInfo fully locates the necessary resources satisfying to the customer's requests.
Within the three-year agreement with Kaspersky Lab specialists of I-Teco Ltd, in addition to basic services, performed works on movement of the server hardware of the customer from corporate DPC in data center TrustInfo. The hardware complex was placed on 27 racks of production of APC 48U in specially selected, closed zone.
"In this zone only the staff of Kaspersky Lab and, in coordination with the customer, specialists of data center has access. Within the project we mounted a video surveillance system which is connected directly to office of a security service of the customer. These and other measures allow to provide very high level of security of Kaspersky Lab agrarian and industrial Complex. Duplication of electric power supply systems and conditioning, in turn, guarantees the continuity of work of the critical, high-loaded applications of the customer", – Mikhail Govor, the project manager of the Service center of I-Teco company told about features of the project.
Also specialists of data center connected four additional communication channels which provided the high level of fault tolerance of a system. In lease data-room to which the video surveillance system is connected was provided to the customer and forward channels of communication with server are brought. In these premises the staff of Kaspersky Lab can in comfortable conditions and in close proximity to the equipment to work with a hardware-software complex of the company.
