2022: Moving key infrastructure and business systems to the CROC Cloud

Nawinia has moved key infrastructure and business systems to the CROC Cloud, including 1C-based ERP. The goal of the project is to ensure the high availability of these services and applications with the ability to flexibly increase resources against the background of business growth. This was announced by CROC Cloud Services on August 23, 2022.

The move to the CROC Cloud was due to the poor quality of the previous provider: there were often problems with the stability and availability of the infrastructure, downtime often lasted several hours, it was also impossible to quickly add memory or use fast disks, which, taking into account increasing workloads, constrained business development. Before changing the service provider, the customer conducted a thorough market study and out of nine players chose CROC Cloud Services.

As of August 2022, 30 Nawinia application systems, including 1C systems (TMS, accounting, finance), are located in the fault-tolerant infrastructure of the CROC Cloud. For them, high-performance processors are used, which, as a result of preliminary testing, showed the maximum result according to the Gilyov test (42 points at 35, which are sufficient to obtain a score of 5 out of 5). In addition, in the CROC Cloud there is a remote virtual table service through which employees gain access to the above systems, a file exchange service with clients, an information system for working with DT, a personal account of Nawinia clients, etc. Infrastructure administration for all smigged applications is carried out by the CROC Cloud Services team in the format of a managed service 24x7.

The key factors in choosing a provider were the most comfortable conditions for, SLA the provider's readiness to always be on communications and help in different tasks. For example, in August 2022, together with CROC experts, Cloud services are working on import substitution post a service scheme based on the CROC Cloud. Nawinia's infrastructure landscape is quite heterogeneous. This led to conflict situations, since different commands were responsible for individual services from the provider, and the responsibility between them was blurred. CROC Cloud services adhere to a different principle: the company provides a comprehensive service with a single entry point for the client. This provides a quick response, an effective solution to the problems at the joints and, as a result, high customer satisfaction,
