AVS Farben found ERP from SAP and implemented

The ABC Farben group implemented SAP ERP, within general strategy of development of the company.

At the Beginning

Difficulties in management of activity of group of companies – a consequence of lack of a common information space, a lack of instruments of long-term planning of sale and production and also impossibility of the cumulative analysis of activity of all enterprises entering into the ABC Farben group forced company management to refuse the outdate instruments of information support of the company and to create a new information system. The companies are necessary the modern tools promoting reaching qualitatively new level of the organization of business processes and management of them. The information system of the class ERP became one of such tools.

A choice is made for benefit of the SAP solution ERP of SAP company. Partner assistance in project implementation was rendered by Inline Group Center Ltd company.

As a result, for implementation the following complex of solutions based based on SAP ERP was selected:

• SAP FI – Financial accounting (accounting);
• SAP FI-SL – Tax accounting;
• SAP CO – Controlling (managerial accounting);
• SAP MM – Management of material flows;
• SAP SD – Sales;
• SAP PP – Planning and production management;
• SAP QM – Quality management.

Standardization and business process optimization was executed, the base for management of economic transactions and timely acceptance of optimal management decisions is created, there was perhaps operational providing complete and reliable information about business activities of ABC Farben Group in real time.

The project started on the first of June, 2009, the start of trial operation of a system happened in nine months. In commercial operation a system was introduced in 11 months - on the first of May, 2010.
