2022: Launch of production of new pharmaceutical substances for 880 million rubles

In August 2022, the Belgorod company Polysintez launched production lines for the production of pharmaceutical substances, which are used in the manufacture of drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular, oncological diseases and various poisonings. 880 million rubles were invested in the project.

A large number of investment projects are being implemented in our Belgorod region. Polysintez has launched a new production line. 95 new jobs have been created, - said the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Polysintez launches production of new pharmaceutical substances

To launch new lines, the company created a small-scale production site for pharmaceutical substances and increased production capacity for small-scale pharmaceutical substances. The main part of pharmaceutical substances produced by the Polisintez plant is used by Polisan. In addition, some factories in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are partners and customers of the company.

Polysintez produces aminocapronic, succinic and malic acids, methyluracil, inosine, nicotinamide, meglumine, sodium acetate trihydrate. These pharmaceutical substances are used in the production of drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular, oncological diseases and "poisoning of various kinds." In total, the plant produces about 20 active components and more than 10 new ones are in development by the end of August 2022.

The company's products are sold in Russia, Mongolia, the CIS, Southeast Asia and Latin America. The company is implementing projects to localize the production of drugs from international concerns Stada, Bayer, Pfizer and others.

The portfolio of Polisan includes four original drugs: Cycloferon (antiviral), Cytoflavin (designed to treat disorders of brain functions and restore cerebrovascular circulation), Reamberin (prevents exogenous and endogenous intoxications of various etiologies) and Remaxol (for the treatment of liver diseases).[1]
