2022: Introduction of a half-echo shielded camera
Holding "Roselectronics" State Corporation Rostec put into operation a half-echo shielded camera. It allows you to test the equipment for the effectiveness of protection against leakage of speech and acoustic information. The complex can be used to test military and special-purpose products, as well as aircraft equipment. Rostec announced this on September 1, 2022.
Half-echo shielded chambers are rooms in which walls and ceiling are covered with radio-absorbing material. Thus, an open measuring platform is simulated, where the walls and ceiling do not reflect radio signals, and the floor reflects them completely.
The camera was mounted at the Rubin NPP of the Roselectronics holding and became a complex that meets the requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) of Russia for the technical protection of information containing information constituting a state secret.
The enterprises of the State Corporation manufacture products, including in the interests of the military department and various special orders. Such equipment should be as protected as possible from information leaks. The commissioning of a half-echo camera will strengthen and speed up the work of the enterprise on the security of products, - commented in the electronic complex of the State Corporation Rostec. |
The operating frequency range in the chamber is from 0.009 MHz to 40,000 MHz. The complex allows assessing the effectiveness of information protection from leakage, as well as measuring industrial interference.
Tests in half-echo chambers are necessary for mandatory certification of products, as well as for the production of equipment under contracts for state needs. The creation of a screened camera at the Rubin NPP will allow us to check our own products in terms of information protection and countering foreign technical intelligence, as well as provide similar services to third-party organizations, "said Andrey Tarasov, General Director of the Rubin NPP. |
