2023: Criminal charges brought after 7-year-old boy's death in hospital

In the Altai Territory, a criminal case was initiated over the death of a child in one of the hospitals. This was announced at the end of January 2023 by the press service of the regional investigation department of the TFR.

According to the investigation, on the night of January 28, 2023, while providing medical care to a 7-year-old boy in the Volchikhinsky central regional hospital, the child stopped breathing and was pronounced dead. The preliminary cause of death of a minor was a viral infection.

According to RIA Novosti, local residents note on social networks that they have accumulated many complaints about the work of the hospital: people report that the institution does not have enough specialists, according to them, on the day of the boy's death, only a nurse was allegedly on duty, who could not help the child in any way. According to local media, residents held a meeting, intend to collect signatures and requested permission to rally from the hospital in order to dismiss the management of the institution.

At the same time, the head physician of the hospital, Tatyana Kharlova, noted in defense of her subordinates that they had been fighting for the boy's life for an hour and a half.

2022: Apologies to the patient for the checkmate on the medical record

The administration of the Volchikhinsky central regional hospital in Altai apologized to the patient for the mat in the medical record. This was announced at the end of August 2022 by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

According to the Telegram channel Mash Siberia, in the Altai Territory, an 89-year-old pensioner in a medical record with a pink marker wrote an obscene word (zae * * * la), because she too often calls an ambulance. The woman has bronchial asthma and hypertension. The swear word in the mother's medical record was discovered by her daughter

Tatyana Kharlova, the head physician of the Volchikhinsky hospital, has already conducted an official investigation into this situation. It turned out that the swear inscription was not made on the card itself, but on the signal sheet, and the words were not intended for the patient.

They had an appropriate conversation with the team, the guilty doctors will be punished. The regional Ministry of Health also stressed that the woman was not denied medical care. She is registered at the dispensary, she is regularly examined by a doctor: the patient undergoes further examination and inpatient treatment two to three times a year. By the end of August 2022, the patient was being treated in a hospital - they decided to hospitalize her due to repeated calls to an ambulance. She has no complaints or complaints against employees of the Volchikhinsky Central Regional Hospital, the Ministry of Health of the Altai Territory added.[2]
