Chars (1C: Trade Management 8)

The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed automation of two grocery stores of Chars network in St. Petersburg. The implemented system allowed to simplify and accelerate as much as possible work of cashiers and also eradicated shortages.

The main activity of network of retail grocery stores "Chars" is sale of alcoholic beverages. The operation mode is round-the-clock, at a flow of buyers above an average and the numerous range. The combination of these factors inevitably led to queues at the checkout and to numerous shortages. The main requirements of the management of network to automation consisted in increase in efficiency of customer service and strict accounting of goods.

After the analysis of the tasks set for specialists BIT to the management of Chars network the solution adapted for retail stores - the software product "was proposed by Frontol. Supermarket" for automation of work of cashiers. Such choice was caused by implementation of a discount system which became uniform for all shops of Chars network. Using this solution the management of network can carry out at the central office the detailed analysis of purchases according to each card. Besides, the standard solution "1C: Trade Management 8" which before automation was finished under problems of each of two shops was set.

For fast service of a big flow of buyers and increase in their loyalty, the software solution was combined with a suitable retail store equipment. In two shops jobs of cashiers were completely automated.

Implementation of the system which is already finished under requirements of shops took place precisely within the stated terms – each shop was automated in a week and without difficulties. As a result of implementation of programs and connection of the equipment it was succeeded to simplify considerably work of employees and the management of Chars network that without delay affected speed of service of buyers whose number in a month increased twice. The module of strict accounting of goods saved shops from shortage. Such results of project implementation will allow to pay back quickly implemented system.

"Automation of shops really very much facilitated to us work. It is convenient to cashiers to use the program, control and accounting of goods improved. At the same time at us inflow of buyers as service became much quicker considerably increased, and people are always interested in it. We already even begin to think of opening of new shop", - the director of Chars network Herman Mikhaylovich Bar-Gnar shared the opinion on results of automation.
