The Directum company announced in August, 2010 start of implementation of the electronic document management system of the same name and interaction managements of Directum in Management of Social Objects company. Automation of key business processes of the company – contractual management and approval of the entering accounts will become one of the main outcomes of the project.

"The management of social objects" is engaged in service of socially important objects in the cities of Kogalym, Langepas and Uraj of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of the Tyumen region intended for life support of workers of the oil-extracting industry and members of their families. In recent years development of the company was constrained by the organizational difficulties connected with slow document retrieval, difficulties of tracking of the movement of documents at all stages of lifecycle, duration of terms of their preparation and approval. At the same time top management of "Management of social objects" needed more perfect instruments of control of performance of resolutions, says Directum. Therefore before the management of the enterprise there was a question of need of implementation of an ECM system which functionality would allow to optimize all complex of works with documents, including internal processes of the company. At the same time the user-friendly interface, simplicity and ease of mastering became wishes to a system also.

As a result the management of "Management of social objects" made the decision on system implementation of electronic document management and interaction management of Directum. The selected solution completely met the requirements and the customer's purposes, supporting complete lifecycle of management of documents and providing the effective organization and control of business processes. Among advantages of a system, according to Directum, representatives of the enterprise also noted the intuitive interface and a possibility of geographically distributed work. The important role in decision-making was played also by existence of successful system implementations of Directum at the enterprises of the social sphere.

The project started in the middle of August, 2010. Delivery and implementation are executed by specialists of Directum company. The following tasks are set for the project team consisting of specialists of Directum and employees of IT department of the customer: organization of electronic archive of documents; automation of office-work and control of execution of instructions; automation of process of contractual management; registration of the entering and outgoing correspondence in office; automation of process of approval of the entering accounts.

The analysis of business processes of the enterprise and development of project solutions will become the first stage of the project. Project tasks will be solved with the help of functionality of "The basic modules Directum" and also modules Office and Contract management. For the regulation and business process automation connected with input, registration, approval and the notification on payment of accounts implementation of specialized business solution "Directum is supposed: Approval of invoices for payment". Within the project it is going to automate work of 60 users, including the management which will have an opportunity to vise and approve electronic documents using the EDS, reported in Directum company.

As expected, as a result of project implementation "The management of social objects" will receive the full-fledged management tool interaction and document flow which will allow to optimize and develop internal processes of the company and to bring them to qualitatively new level. Processing and movements of documents will be accelerated, time for creation and document retrieval is reduced, work of office, contractual processes is automated, new mechanisms of control of execution of instructions are entered.

Expansion of use of a system is in the long term planned. In particular, implementation of the module "Managements of Meetings" and also business solution "Directum is supposed: Management of tenders" that, by calculations of the customer, will allow to gain economic and managerial effect in the form of reduction of a set-up time and holding meetings and work with the tender documentation.
