2022: Agreement to prepare a course in space education
The Russian private space company SPUTPS (part of the Sitronics Group), the Malaysian technology and social company Angkasa-X and the Scientific University of Malaysia signed a cooperation agreement to organize an educational course in space engineering. This was announced on September 14, 2022 by Sitronics Group.
Cooperation between the parties will develop the professional competencies of space engineers in Malaysia. The first educational comprehensive course on small satellites will be created, consisting of lectures and practical classes at the university laboratory. This course is part of the Space EduTech program aimed at students and professionals in Asia. The objectives of the program are to develop the talents and skills of the younger generation of engineers, to create a personnel reserve in the near future.
The signed agreement confirms the high level of our aerospace development by world standards. Cooperation with the Malaysian Company and the university is very useful and important for us. We equip the laboratory and will train students on educational designers and equipment of our development, - said Vladislav Ivanenko, General Director of SPUTNIK LLC. |
For the SPUTPS project, it will provide an educational course on CubeSat microsatellites based on the company's program and training equipment to master students the basics of design, assembly, testing and control of spacecraft in orbit.
