2009: Completion of SAP ERP system implementation

In March 2009, it was reported that the project for a process-oriented implementation of the SAP ERP system was completed. The implementation of the system was carried out with its validation in accordance with the requirements of international regulations for the production and quality control of medicines (GMP). The project was carried out by two contractors: BearingPoint, a subsidiary of Bearing Point, and specialists from the Russian division of IDS Scheer.

The consultants of the first company performed work on re-engineering of business processes in the field of economics and finance, management of changes in these areas, as well as on the creation of an information basis and tools for the formation of management reporting and its consolidation at the corporation level. Work was also carried out on system integration, preparation of regulatory reference information, loading of initial data.

The specialists of the second contractor automated the business processes of logistics and production, maintenance and repair processes, and integrated with quality control systems. The system allows you to control costs and manage costs, liabilities, payments, liquidity, optimize purchases and stocks, monitor shipments, and maintain product quality.

Since January 1, 2009, the company has switched to a new information system, which currently employs more than 200 users. Within the framework of the project, the ERP system was integrated with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) with the involvement of Labware specialists.

The project was completed in 18 months. The ERP system allowed to automate accounting, management accounting, financial functions, supply and sales functions, inventory and warehouse management, production planning, production cost management, maintenance and repairs, and maintenance of regulatory reference information.

2007: Completion of the first phase of the ERP system implementation project

In July 2007, Nizhfarm completed the first stage of a large-scale project to implement the ERP SAP system.

The implementation of the ERP system has become part of the work to integrate the company into the group of companies. STADA CIS ERP The new owner of the company adopted the platform as a corporate standard. SAP Therefore, Nizhfarm had to abandon the previously used ERP platform IV Baan (the implementation of which, according to TAdviser's information, was carried out by the company "" in TOPS BI 1998-2000).

According to the customer, the integration of the company's information flows into the unified information system of the holding is especially important in the context of contract production - the production of products of the STADA product portfolio at the Nizhfarm production facilities for export to European countries. Work on the transition to a new automation platform began in July 2007, together with the consulting companies IDS Scheer Russia and BearingPoint.

The first stage of the project was conceptual design, that is, the preparation of key business processes for the implementation of the ERP system. At the second stage of the project, it is planned to configure individual modules according to the developed process models. This phase is planned to be divided into four phases: "Implementation," "Final Preparation," "Pilot Operation" and "Industrial Operation and Support." Its duration is estimated at 12 months. Thus, the start of industrial operation of the new ERP system is scheduled for early January 2009. As a result, more than 120 jobs should be created.
