2022: Provision of virtual infrastructure with GPU

The company Cloud4Y on September 19, 2022 announced the provision of virtual infrastructure with GPU to Spetsklimat.

JSC Spetsklimat is a domestic manufacturer of special general climatic equipment. The company is engaged in the development and manufacture of the entire range of equipment for climatic testing of electronic equipment, materials and products for general industrial and special purposes. Climate chambers serve to simulate aggressive environmental effects in a laboratory environment.

Designing new models is a resource-intensive process that requires well-optimized and productive hardware. The local infrastructure handles loads to a certain level, but complicates the scaling of processes and slows down the hiring of new designers who need a full-fledged workplace with a good level of performance. In addition, the use of specific software limits the list of solutions that meet the specified requirements.

To reduce costs and reduce the burden on the regular IT department, Spetsklimat decided to migrate the infrastructure to the cloud, provider capable of offering the required amount of resources.

Testing the Cloud4Y platform showed that the cloud solution is able to close the needs of Spetsklimat JSC, and also allows you to expand the staff of designers, and, if necessary, quickly create jobs for them. The virtual infrastructure under the IaaS model allows all designers to provide a full workspace, and the use of GPUs to speed up the modeling process.

Training, neural networks solving complex design, rendering, research problems - thanks to the proposed NVIDIA Tesla V100, P100, M60 and M40 GPU Cloud4Y, companies can get maximum performance quickly and cost-effectively. The use of virtual infrastructure allowed Spetsklimat JSC to focus on working with general climatic equipment, and delegate IT issues to the cloud. to provider
