Each project of the company are dozens of involved specialists, hundreds of sheets of design and technology documentation which repeatedly moves in the course of work between employees for review, a statement and acquaintance. With growth of volume of project activity there was a need for reduction of time for accomplishment by employees of routine transactions and also ordering of flows of documents, economy of supplies and automation of control functions. Due to the assigned tasks, the management of Mekhanobr engineering headed for implementation of an ECM system.

System implementation began in 2009. Specialists of Akelon developed for implementation of above-mentioned tasks and implemented the specialized solution Project management on the basis of the Basic modules DIRECTUM. A system became a common information space for implementation of project activity: all information on a work progress is accumulated and stored in an electronic card, interaction of responsibles is performed by electronic tasks and tasks. Managers of projects of Mekhanobr engineering had an opportunity on a centralized basis to obtain all information on a work progress (about ready condition of documents, their current location, about the current stage, etc.) and, proceeding from the nature of this information, to quickly make management decisions.

On the project the staff of Akelon company developed several specialized reports for convenience of collecting and data analysis: "Schedule", "Diagram of transfer of tasks", "Course of accomplishment of project work", "Summary report on project works". On the basis of these reports project managers can analyze the status and percent of the actual execution of works, the list of overdue stages by a specific object, the partner, blueprint stage.

Process of approval of the project documentation and documentation of SMK for write-off in archive was in addition automated that allowed to lower time expenditure of employees and to minimize a human factor.

At the moment all project works are completed, a system is in commercial operation. Work of office, technology, construction, sanitary and IT department and also all employees who are engaged in the management of projects was transferred to DIRECTUM. In total at the moment in a system about 50 users at the same time work. Expansion of functionality of a system is in the short term planned.
