2009-2017

From November 2009 to April 2017, Oleg Nesterov headed the Russian subsidiary Roche Diagnostics Rus, after which he worked as a free consultant and director-at-large at Tashir Medica.

2022: Appointment as CEO of Unim

The Russian pathomorphological laboratory Unim was headed by the former head of the Roche Diagnostics subsidiary in the Russian Federation, Oleg Nesterov. The corresponding entry was made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities at the end of September 2022.

The creator of Unim and former head of the company, Aleksei Remez, said that he would remain on the board of directors, but would focus on developing new projects outside the laboratory's contour.

Unim was headed by the former head of the Roche Diagnostics subsidiary in the Russian Federation

Unim develops digital solutions for cytological and pathomorphological diagnostics (the main software is Digital Pathology), conducts histological, immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical studies.

Pathomorphological studies help to identify the nature and stage of the neoplasm. The pathologist makes a diagnosis based on the diagnosis of the microscopic picture of the patient's tumor. The oncologist can then prescribe a more correct and effective treatment. In some cases, only a pathologist can say which drug therapy is suitable for a patient based on a pathomorphological study.

In January 2022, Unim signed an agreement with Medsi Group of Companies to centralize cancer diagnosis in network clinics based on Digital Pathology. In September 2022, the company invested 10 million rubles in scaling the laboratory and purchasing medical equipment.

In August 2022, the Tashir Medica investment holding (part of Samvel Karapetyan's Tashir Group of Companies) acquired 100% of Unim, buying out the shares of investors and the general director, the founder of Aleksei Remez. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, experts estimated the purchase at 150-250 million rubles.
