Sinterra's DPC

The single distributed national network of DPC of Sinterra includes seven data centers – in Moscow, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Stavropol, Kazan, Krasnodar and Tomsk. The total area of DPC network of Sinterra on a raised floor exceeds 2.5 thousand sq.m.

Kazan

The maximum project load of a data processing center is expected 500 kW. The area of the machine hall of 165 square meters that allows to place about 48 server racks. Loading up to 6 kW is planned for each rack. The data processing center has reservation on power supply, the diesel-generator installation (DGI) which provides giving of back power supply in case of loss or failures in power supply on the main and reserve input is also set. The conditioning system of data center is created according to scheme N+1.^[1]

No break power supply system of DPC: In case of loss or failures of power supply on the main input there is an automatic switching on reserve, or transition to a power supply from rechargeable batteries. No break power supply system of DPC is executed on static 4-ekh by the UPS of Riello company taking into account reservation of all components according to scheme N+1. Power reserve of battery sets at an overall load provides power supply of DPC within not less than 5 minutes. Start of DGU is during this time provided and power supply of DPC is performed from standby system of power supply.

System of back power supply of DPC: At serious accident power supply of DPC passes to reserve power supply. The system of back power supply of DPC is executed on DGU Wilson the power of 850 kVA. At an overall load DGU ensures continuous functioning of data center within 8 hours. For continuous work of DPC it is signed the delivery contract of diesel fuel and refueling of DGU in the working mode. It allows to ensure almost unlimited independent operation of data center. Time in half a year is made fuel change.

The conditioning system of data center is installed and expected continuous work and withdrawal of heat releases from server racks totally up to 300 kW. A system is executed taking into account reservation of floor air conditioning blocks and reservation of the external condenser blocks installed on an external wall. Precision conditioners with a refrigerating capacity of 40 kW of company EmiCon with an upper fence of a hot air support the set parameters – temperature and a relative humidity. Precision conditioners give cooled and humidified (if it is necessary) air under a raised floor. The cooled air through perforated plates of a raised floor moves in the server racks set in the machine hall. Height from the floor basis to a tile 0.6 meters.

In data center the fire detection system and the fire extinguishing system using gas fire extinguishing substance freon 125 is installed. The system of gas fire extinguishing allows to liquidate quickly the ignition center without causing damage of IT to the equipment.

The data center locates two 10 the gigabit channels connected to own backbone network. In case of need, the company can increase bandwidth. The Synterra company is the owner of a backbone network, the covering territory of all Russia. It allows clients to have unlimited opportunities for connection of the remote offices and IT resources placed in data centers of Synterra company.

Electric cables from distribution electric frames with the guaranteed power supply two beams are laid under a raised floor and racks are displaid from below. Then power cables rasklyuchatsya on top racks on time cut-outs which limit power consumption. Low-current and fiber optic cables in the server hall are laid on top on cable channels, executed in the form of mesh trays. Fiber optic cables are laid in a corrugation that allows to protect them from excesses and breaks.

At equipment installation in DPC of Synterra company clients receive a big range of services. For example, clients of DPC receive free of charge protection against DDoS of the attacks, the company can build corporate VPN network (Sinterra has points of presence in 150 Russian cities), clients can place the equipment or lease. Until the end of January the special prices affect placement of servers and racks.

Supervisory console: To one display screen video images from the mounted cameras are output from the server hall, the electromachine premises, and on other screen information messages and warnings of emergence of non-staff situations are displayed (for example, information from the security fire warning).
