2022: Received a prison sentence

In early October 2022, those who stole hundreds of millions of rubles from Roscosmos received prison sentences. So, the former head of the NGO named after S. A. Lavochkin Sergei Lemeshevsky was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison and a fine of 500 thousand rubles, Igor Tretyakov, chairman of the Tretyakov & Partners law firm, by the age of seven in a general regime colony with a fine of 400 thousand rubles, the head of the legal support department of the NGO Ekaterina Averyanova - six years in prison with a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

The defendants were taken into custody in the courtroom. All three were found guilty of especially large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). They were detained in 2018, none of them pleaded guilty.

According to the investigation and the court, the defendants stole money through fictitious contracts with the law office "Tretyakov and Partners," although all legal issues were dealt with by full-time employees of the enterprise. For two years, by their actions, the attackers caused damage to NGOs producing satellites and acceleration blocks in the amount of about 330 million rubles.

At the same time, contracts with the law office were concluded bypassing the competition, which violated the current legislation. In addition, according to the investigation, highly qualified lawyers worked in NGOs, which means that there was no point in attracting third-party lawyers.

As Kommersant notes, the main plaintiff in these cases was the state corporation Roscosmos, whose structure is the NGO named after S. A. Lavochkina. However, the investigation considered that in fact, third-party lawyers did not participate in arbitration proceedings, and all the work related to defending the interests of the enterprise in the courts was carried out by its own employees. Lemeshevsky's investigation considers the organizer of the fraudulent group, his subordinate Averyanov and lawyer Tretyakov - performers.^[1]
