Rapid growth of Katekavia led to complication of procedures of document flow between the divisions of airline which are responsible for sale of tickets, transportations and maintenance. At some point the level of documentary ensuring management ceased to correspond to scales of business and dynamics of its development. In airline need of implementation of the advanced IT solutions which would allow to optimize the main directions of interaction, both between divisions, and with external structures ripened. With respect thereto the management of Katekavia initiated the project on automation of office-work and business processes using an electronic document management system.
Among all systems of an ECM class presented at the domestic market, a choice was made for benefit of an electronic document management system and interaction management of DIRECTUM. The main criteria at decision-making were experience of successful implementation at the different enterprises of the country, flexible price policy and presence of the authorized partner of DIRECTUM in Krasnoyarsk. Besides, among advantages of a system its considerable functionality allowing to optimize all complex of works with documents was mentioned by the customer.
Today the DIRECTUM system is transferred to commercial operation, in it more than 30 specialists work. For remote workers of the enterprise the remote access ensuring functioning with documents and tasks in a system is configured.
As a result implementation of DIRECTUM in Katekavia airline allowed to formalize and automate key business processes: registration of the entering, outgoing, internal documents, agreements; approval of all document types; control of performing discipline. Further the scope of new processes and expansion of scales of use of the DIRECTUM system in airline is planned.
