The value of a contract called Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) for 10 years is $1.58 billion. Based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Verizon said it has been providing support to other government security services and civilian customers for more than three decades by providing critical infrastructure, communications and managed services services. Under the terms of its contract with EIS, Verizon, which operates in the public sector, will work to provide all services to the Department of Defense in a timely manner and in accordance with quality of service standards.

In addition, Verizon won EIS contracts for upgrading and updating IT infrastructure for other US government organizations, including a deal with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) worth more than $400 million in July 2022 and a deal with the US Department of Defense worth $1 billion in March 2022.[1]
