The company "TechLAB" (St. Petersburg) on October 10, 2022 announced a digital solution called "Galenos.SPPR" - a service for supporting medical decision-making for any nosological groups of diseases.

Galenos.SPPR was developed on the basis of the Galenos platform - the flagship development of TechLAB. It integrates with the medical information system of a particular institution and works as follows. The doctor enters patient data into the medical information system in his organization. The SPMS analyzes electronic medical records, then forms a patient model on their basis, to which it applies the requirements of various regulations and clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The result is a list of outstanding requirements, which are displayed to the doctor in the format of recommendations. It is important that any position in the list of recommendations can be confirmed by reference to a specific regulatory act or relevant clinical recommendations, which are a reference in clinical decision-making on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.

With the help of recommendations, the service is able to draw the attention of the doctor to the likely side effects and expected complications inherent in the drugs used in the selected treatment regimen. The service can make a list of possible options for therapy or remind the doctor to check the patient's condition for the expected reduction of dosages if he does not see the results of such checks. At the same time, of course, the service is not able to replace the doctor, but is able to save his time to work with the patient, - said Mikhail Kaufman, director of health projects at TechLAB, about the appointment of the development. - Galenos.SPMS is able to protect both the patient and the doctor himself from errors in treatment and diagnosis - and this applies not only to the doctor who is observing the patient at the moment, but also to colleagues who worked with this patient at previous stages. Finally, the service allows you to protect both the doctor and his medical organization from claims of controlling instances and financial losses.

As of October 2022, Galenos.SPPR was introduced in 11 regions of the Russian Federation, and the average number of installations over the past two years has already exceeded 30 thousand doctors - target users of the IT solution.
