2022: Investing 225 million rubles in production

On October 11, 2022, it became known that the production of masks for oxygen-aerosol therapy was being launched in the Moscow region. We are talking about a project worth 225 million rubles, which is being implemented by the Main Element company.

As part of import substitution, it will expand the production of medical devices - inhalers-canisters with a gas oxygen mixture and oxygen masks. With the assistance of the Moscow Region Development Corporation (KRMO), the company will install production automated lines in the Lytkino technopark in Solnechnogorsk.

Due to the implementation of the investment project, about 40 jobs will be created for residents of our region. this production site in Solnechnogorsk, which will produce up to 150 thousand medical oxygen masks and inhalers per month, will be launched by the end of November 2022, - said the Deputy Chairman - governments Minister of Investment, industries sciences Moscow region and Ekaterina Zinovieva.

The company "Basic Element" has been operating in the market for the production of medical devices since 2017. As of October 2022, the company has existing production facilities located in Krasnogorsk and Serpukhov. Among the vacancies that will appear at the enterprise are operators, thermoplastic adjudicators, assemblers and pickers.

In Russia, there are only two companies that are engaged in the production of medical inhalers-canisters with an oxygen-gas mixture. As for oxygen face masks, which are used for oxygen-aerosol therapy, this is an absolutely special production, 100% import substitution, since as of October 2022 all oxygen masks that are used in medical and preventive institutions are imported, - said Denis Lavrov, General Director of Basic Element LLC.

The production line, which is installed at the enterprise, was developed and manufactured by the Russian equipment manufacturer. The company plans to supply its products to hospitals, as well as federal and regional pharmaceutical distributors.

As of October 2022, the medical industry uses mainly medical oxygen canisters and masks from foreign manufacturers, and the products of the Basic Element company will allow not only to increase the production of Russian goods that are not inferior to imported ones in quality, but also to manufacture import-substituting products. We are glad that with the participation of the Moscow Region Development Corporation, such a project is planned in the region.
