2022: Introduction of an electronic queue for applicants
The Crimean Medical College has introduced an electronic queue "Etla": it has become more convenient to apply for admission to college and take entrance exams. This was announced by Etlas-Soft on October 14, 2022.
Applicants entering Krymsky Medical the College of Reasons became less nervous - now, instead of following a live queue, they use electronic. The queue management system (SUO) works simply: the applicant approaches the information room located in the college lobby, selects the faculty and specialty he needs from the list on the screen, receives a ticket with a number, and then calmly waits for a call. When one of the specialists of the admission committee is released to accept the next applicant, a message appears on the information board inviting the ticket holder with the corresponding number.
The choice of software for WCS fell on the development of Etla. Among the features of the system:
- reliability and reliability;
- the ability to expand the functionality of the system when necessary;
- possibility of integration of WCS with the organization's information systems;
- a completely domestic development that guarantees the operability of the system regardless of foreign economic factors;
- reliable technical support from the developer.
The implementation of the electronic queue system was carried out by the developer company's specialists. Preparation of the system for operation included setting up an infomat, programming messages and setting up an information board, and developing a coupon. Since Etla has extensive experience in implementing queue management systems, the initial setup did not take much time. The software has developed tools to help adapt the electronic queue to the peculiarities of any organization.
