2022: System Announcement

On October 18, 2022, Sonendo introduced the GentleWave G4 system, designed to treat tooth decay without minimal pain.

The GentleWave G4 system uses broad-spectrum acoustic energy and advanced fluid dynamics to provide advanced disinfection to penetrate complex anatomical structures, resulting in better cleaning and improved healing time.

Caries treatment system with no minimal pain entered the market

The procedure is used in the treatment of root canals for a minimally invasive process to preserve the tooth structure and promote early healing. In a recent clinical trial, 99.5% of patients experienced minimal or no pain with the GentleWave G4 system procedure with the addition of CleanFlow technology, the company said in a press release.

The system has an intuitive interface. GentleWave G4 has a built-in step-by-step guide for physicians and audio cues that improve understanding of the procedure and reduce the need to look away from the patient during treatment. In addition, the device is equipped with a backup battery and large-capacity liquid tanks, which reduces downtime between procedures and allows up to six procedures before replenishing the liquid.^[1]
