In October 2022, it became known about the creation in the United States of an information and analytical platform for military intelligence Army Intelligence Data Platform. The system is entirely cloud-based and began to be applied to military intelligence battalions at Fort Gordon. Other intelligence specialists have access to the platform, including representatives of the Ground Forces Intelligence and Security Command, Sho Air Force Base and US Central Command.
It is assumed that Army Intelligence Data Platform will be able to process data coming from various sources: intelligence community, commercial organizations or any other sources that are of interest to intelligence. As a result, the US military will be able to receive answers to difficult questions regarding the future situation without the need to take into account unforeseen circumstances.
We are testing the Army intelligence data platform. In essence, this is a system that will receive all army intelligence data - data from the intelligence community, commercial data, any data sources that our intelligence specialists may need. When we get through this stage, we will have a data platform that our intelligence professionals can access, aggregate and have the tools to work with them so they can answer difficult questions about the future without preparing for any contingencies. The Army Intelligence Data Platform is based on cloud technology. Access to the system is carried out through any device with permission to connect to the platform. The system is being tested and deployed with the support of Palantir, the main platform contractor, which has signed a five-year, $59 million contract for platform integration and deployment.
The next step is to include localized data in the Army Intelligence Data Platform so that the crew can access the platform to obtain geospatial or other information, even if they have intermittent communications or unstable access to the network.[1]
