In August, 2010 the new stage of the large-scale system project on automation of accounting, production management, planning and forecasting in IES-Holding started.
In the largest Russian private energy company "IES-Holding" the new stage of the project on implementation of the unified information system based on the SAP solution ERP started. IES-Holding performs electricity generation, development of the generating capacities, power trading, retail sales of electricity, heat, gas transportation.
At IES-Holding there are different platforms - Oracle Utilities for a federal billing system, formation of the consolidated statements according to IFRS was implemented based on the BasWare Group Consolidation & IFRS Package software product. For conducting primary accounting under RAS in most the enterprises of holding the uniform configuration on the 1C: Enterprise platform was implemented.
Besides, a single normative and help system based on the Capital of CSE enterprise management system in the energy company "TGC-9" which was supposed to be extended to all enterprises of IES-Holding which part TGC-9 is was created. The single system of NSI was necessary for the company for joint work and data exchange between separate software products, including SAP R/3 and "1C: Enterprise".
For the purpose of the organization of effective work of holding it was necessary to construct optimal structure of the company and also to provide a possibility of processing of large volumes of information from the enterprises which are a part of holding.
For the solution of the first task the divisional structure – a new business model of IES-Holding was created. Within the solution of the second task it was necessary to develop the general business process and standards of collecting of necessary information. And information volume was so big that the industrial system allowing to execute consolidation was required.
In 2009 corporate programs which a number of strategic projects on information support and management of key transactions of holding and subsidiary companies – Baikal, Turbine, Treasury and others enters started. [1] The Group of Whist company was attracted to implementation of the ERP system. For project implementation Baikal and Treasury were selected ERP systems of SAP company [2] (file).
Within the program of implementation Turbine for the Kirov branch "TGC-5" on the pilot platform in the Generation of the Urals division in 3.5 months [3] the first stage of the program was successfully brought into productive operation. Within the first stage subsystems of maintenance and repair of the equipment, management of material flows, accounting, tax and management accounting are implemented.
The uniform reference book of materials which will be replicated further on the Generation division of KES was created. The transparency of material flows and transactions in supply chains is supposed that implementation of this program will allow to control operating costs of repairs and operation, to raise and to standardize and centralize accounting function within all Generation division.
Now will be executed geographical and functional deployment of the Turbine program. Since July 1, 2009 start of the ERP system on TGC-5 is implemented, and since October 1 circulation is planned for TGC-9. Implementation of the second queue of the program covers processes of formation of repair and investment programs and preparation of the annual comprehensive program of purchases.
Further it is going to provide formation of the uniform business plan on all Generation division, implementation of modules of human resources management and payroll, automation of vendor relations, development of a subsystem of TORO regarding certification of the equipment and implementation of a RCM system.
Within the project Treasury is performed development and deployment of a prototype of the automated control system for the Centralized treasury based on SAP ERP. Implementation will also be executed on the pilot platform in the Generation of the Urals division. Further replication of a prototype of the Centralized treasury is planned for other divisions of holding.
Within the Baikal project it is supposed to solve the following problems: development of a system for preparation of the reporting under IFRS and management reporting, integration of the systems of accounting, completion of creation of the single database on fixed assets, budgeting automation, replication of functionality of the reporting under the movement of cash flows.
As a result of the solution of these tasks the ERP system will allow to exercise control and planning of liquidity, to keep planning and account of payments, to manage to relationship with banks and partners, to create budget model of holding.
