The AIISKUE installation on PS of 500 kV under construction the Rostov MES of the South

MES of the South started installation of the electric power fiscal metering system on substation of 500 kV under construction the Rostov (Rostov region). Works are performed within construction of a transmission line of 500 kV Frolovskaya – Shakhty – Rostov with substation of 500 kV Rostov and expansion of substation of 500 kV Shakhty. The input of new power facilities in work planned for 2010 will allow to provide issue of power of the Balakovo NPP in the integrated power system of the South of Russia. Investments of JSC FGC UES into the project make 4.8 billion rubles.

During the course of performance works for substations of 500 kV Rostov 20 counters on a microprocessor basis will be installed. Data collection from counters will be is performed automatically in the set intervals. Electric power inventory data via satellites will be transferred to the Data acquisition and processing center of MES of the South and to Executive office of JSC FGC UES.

Project implementation of construction of a transmission line of 500 kV Frolovskaya – Shakhty – Rostov with substation of 500 kV Rostov and expansion of substation of 500 kV Shakhty began in 2008. Today on substation of 500 kV Rostov autotransformers are installed, the all-substation operations control room, open distributors 220, 330 and 500 of kV are constructed. On substation of 500 kV Shakhty is set the shunting reactors, cells for connection of new transmission lines of 500 kV are constructed.

On a transmission line of 500 kV Shakhty – Rostov installation of support and installation of a wire is complete. Until the end of 2010 on substation of 500 kV Rostov it is necessary to install the system of melting of ice, to complete the construction of a transmission line of 220 kV Rostov – Rostov-20.

Input of new substation of 500 kV Rostov with a transformer capacity of 940 MVA will allow to provide reliable power supply of large industrial consumers of the region among whom Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rostovsky is the Pribor plant, JSC Rostov Pharmaceutical Factory, Rostov Plant of Processed Cheeses LLC.
