Russian Data Center Week will be held in Moscow

"Russian Data Center Week" is the first event in Russia for the data center industry, combining business and technology. In the new format, forum participants will have discussion clubs and expert speeches, exhibition and networking zones and a job fair, as well as educational sections for technical specialists in the industry.



On November 17, the Russian Data Center Week starts in Moscow − a new project of the Media Grus publishing house. This year, the forum program includes two conference sections, educational courses from Russian equipment manufacturers and an exhibition area. More than 5,000 managers and specialists of large corporate customers, data center service operators, cloud providers, system integrators of manufacturers and suppliers of engineering equipment for data centers throughout Russia − from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, are invited to participate in the forum .

The program of the "Russian Data Center Week" includes five discussion clubs with the participation of such experts in the data center market and cloud technologies as:

  • Anton Salov, member of the RCCPA organizing committee, head of the IoT strategy of the MTS department;
  • Alexey Tarakin, head of the Avantage data center;
  • Aleksei Soldatov, Advisor to the General Director of DataPro;
  • Vladislav Lantukh, Head of Cloud Technologies and Data Center Дом.ru;
  • Alexey Eremenko, Director of the VK Data Center Construction and Operation Department;
  • Sergey Vyshemirsky, CTO IXcellerate;
  • Igor Dorofeev, President of the Association of Data Center Industry Participants;

and many others.

Commercial operators of the data center in their discussion will discuss ensuring the safe functioning of the data center in the context of partial mobilization, the current landscape of the data center market, its prospects and changes that have occurred since February 2022. A separate discussion will be devoted to the issues of Russian manufacturers of equipment for the data center. In the section "Digital Transformation and Clouds" within the framework of the discussion club "Import Substitution of Virtualization Systems for Cloud Providers," experts will discuss whether Russian virtualization is ready to technologically and functionally replace similar solutions VMware and Microsoft. Another panel discussion will discuss the state and functioning of the cloud infrastructure in new realities. A special Cloud session will discuss the prospects for the development of cloud products and services, issues of ensuring their security, as well as engineering and IT infrastructure for the digital transformation of the state and business.

In the exhibition area, forum participants will be able to ask all questions of interest at the stands of commercial data centers and domestic manufacturers of engineering equipment, as well as learn about the current opportunities in the data center market at the job fair.
