The program of development of accounting systems in retail market of the electric power for the Ekaterinburg electric grid company is approved

In JSC IDGC Holding the program of perspective development of accounting systems in retail market of the electric power of JSC Ekaterinburg Electric Grid Company (EESK) is approved. The main action of this program is automation of accounting in a distribution network.

The automated information measuring system of commercial electricity metering (AIIS KUE) is intended for remote data acquisition from electric power metering devices. A system consists of three levels. The first level is the counters located in electric units of consumers. The second – the collecting devices and data transmissions set on the feeding substations, transformer substations and distribution points of 6-10 kV. The third level – the data acquisition and processing center which is in the power grid enterprise.

The program of development of the AIIS KUE of the EESK distribution network is developed till 2028. Financing of actions is planned within a long-term investment program. During this time on different power objects it is going to set channeling equipment. During the Researches and Development which were carried out to JSC EESK in 2008-2009 different methods of data transmission were studied (public radio channels 433 MHz, GSM, PLC, WiMax, ZigBee, Internet). Also the Data acquisition and processing center of the AIIS KUE of a distribution network of JSC EESK in which not only the standard feature set, but also the functions which are specially developed for retail market will be put will be constructed.

"For today in JSC EESK the AIIS KUE of wholesale market which construction began a few years ago is successfully operated. Now the AIIS KUE is put into commercial operation on all substations of 220-35 kV of JSC EESK. A system annually undergoes all necessary testing and service. The interested consumers already obtain electric power expense information. Thus, in Yekaterinburg conditions for construction of the full-fledged electric power fiscal metering system of retail market in the EESK distribution network are created", - the chief engineer of the company Alexander Taranenko noted.

Consumers will not need to transfer manually information on volumes of the used electric power, at the same time they will be sure that exact data timely come to the electric grid company. EESK will be able to minimize costs for write-off of indications of metering devices, now it is done manually by the staff of the company. In the mode close to real time, JSC EESK will be able to analyze expenses and figures of merit of the electric power on sections of networks, revealing an overload, possible unauthorized consumption or a deviation of parameters of quality of the electric power.
