2022: Working out the first cases of urban airmobility
The first cases of the urban airmobility zone have been worked out at Skolkovo. The Fund announced this on November 9, 2022.
Various digital services for ensuring the safety of drones in an urban environment have been tested. As part of the study of missions for the delivery of goods and monitoring of ground facilities, a prototype of the future digital control room was deployed on Skolkovo servers.
Monitoring of the movement of drones in the Skolkovo airspace during test flights is carried out from a single dispatch center. Functional servers Innovation Center modules - IT systems - are installed on drones transponders and trackers 4G and. 5G
The territory of Skolkovo is traditionally a platform for testing technologies, including drones. For testing, Skolkovo will allow all developers who have the necessary level of technological maturity. During 2022, we formed the main approaches that can be implemented when creating an urban airmobility environment. For November 2022, we begin testing promising technological solutions to create infrastructure for future pilot zones of urban aeromobility within the framework of current legislation. Our goal is to test approaches to ensuring the safety of drones in urban conditions, said Alexey Belyakov, Vice President, Executive Director of the Skolkovo Foundation's advanced production technology cluster.

As part of test flights in the urban airmobility zone, cases for delivery, monitoring and aerial photography were worked out.
We have a set of equipment for shooting photos and videos in high resolution, our own system that collects data during the flight and transfers them to the control center. In the current mission, we sent the coordinates of the drone - its exact position in the air, and also monitored and filmed the territory. We hope that participation in the Skolkovo project will help the company "fly" to the city as soon as possible and reveal the potential of an industrial unmanned system, noted Nikolai Voityuk, Deputy General Director of NRTB.

The drone of the Skolkovo resident, the NRTB company, after flying around the territory, successfully transferred photographic materials via the 5G network to the dispatch center. In practical applications, such technologies will help control large-scale construction, fire safety, road conditions and many other processes in the daily life of the city.
A complex of automation tools for urban airmobility Jupiter is being created especially for practicing the control of urban airspace. As a basic platform, repeatedly tested in aviation and certified software tools for ensuring flight safety are used. The solution is supplemented with services necessary to ensure urban airmobility, for example, receiving BVS coordinates through the 4G/5G network, interaction with service providers for preparing flight plans, a special web-based solution to inform external pilots, EU ATM and other interested departments. added Viktor Solomentsev, Deputy General Director for Development and Scientific Work "Azimut."

One of the key cases that is being tested in the GAM zone is cargo delivery. The company "YuVL Robotics," a resident of "Skolkovo," has developed a delivery drone, which in autonomous mode picks up, delivers and unloads parcels. In total, such a drone can raise a cargo weighing up to 3 kg. The startup for November 2022 has already carried out a commercial implementation of the development in Oman, where an automated drone delivers at least 2-3 parcels every day.
The help of Skolkovo helped us to achieve these results. In particular, we received grants for the development of our product for more than 50 million rubles. All production of components is localized in Russia, with the exception of electronics. We are actively engaged in import substitution, and including with the support of Skolkovo, we are developing our own parachute technology to ensure safety in the event of an emergency, told Leonid Romanovsky, technical director of YuVL Robotics.

The process of preparing and coordinating flight plans using the Nebosvod program was provided by a Skolkovo resident, Aerosypt.
After registering in the system, the external pilot binds the drone to his account, indicates the flight parameters and sends it to the system. The system processes this information, generates a set of documents, sends the entire set of data to the ATM system, and then reports on the results of the approval, " said Vadim Avershin, lead analyst at the Aeroscript Research Center.

Test flights to work out scenarios for the use of unmanned technologies on the territory of Skolkovo are planned to be carried out monthly.
