Ozon and Darkstor at Home have entered into a logistics partnership: sellers will be able to deliver under the RFBS Express scheme by placing goods in the partner's darkstores. The company was informed about this on November 9, 2022.

The partnership is aimed at developing the infrastructure of darkstores and increasing the speed of express delivery for sellers within Moscow.

Many sellers have a number of restrictions preventing coverage of the entire city with rapid delivery from their warehouse (realFBS scheme). Most often, they do not have premises for storing goods in different areas of the city and their own staff of couriers. However, now sellers on Ozon can connect external Darkstor warehouses at home in the right areas of the city and provide express delivery.

To start, it is enough to ship goods to Darkstor. The Darkstor at Home team will collect, pack the order, and automatically transfer the statuses to the marketplace. Warehouses "Darkstor at home" work daily without days off and holidays, this expands the possibilities of delivering goods in express mode.

According to Ozon, express delivery is preferred by every third buyer. Separately, it should be noted that the cards of such goods placed in darkstorms will be highlighted with a red button with the inscription "from 2 o'clock," will receive priority issuance in search on Ozon and a separate filter for the speed of delivery "Express." This approach allows you to increase product views by 54%, as well as grow to 30% in turnover.

The service is available both to large stores and small sellers, in "Darkstor at home" you can rent warehouse space from 1 shelf for 3000 rubles inside the Moscow Ring Road, which allows you to cover both the city center and sleeping areas with quick delivery. Delivery from the warehouse is carried out by logistics partners - Delivery Club and Dostavista. As of November 2022, the startup operates 4 warehouses with a total number of 1400 shelves, plans to open additional warehouse locations with a total capacity of up to 6500 shelves.

The darkstore as a service business model provides a market-specific infrastructure flexibility that allows you to increase capacity in a high season, and reduce them in a low season. In addition, connecting to Darkstor at home allows sellers to dynamically test the goods without the need to rent their own warehouses, because the cost of such experiments can start from 8 thousand rubles for placing the goods in 4 warehouses of the service.
