The government of the Penza region was given to Rostelecom

JSC Rostelecom and the Government of the Penza region signed on September 1, 2010 the Agreement on cooperation within creation in the field of a regional segment of "the electronic government".

The agreement was signed by the Governor of the Penza region Bochkaryov Vasily and Vitse-prezident according to federal programs of JSC Rostelecom Nashchekin Alexey.

According to the signed Agreement, the Parties will create in the Penza region regional infrastructure of "the electronic government" based on the solution developed by Rostelecom and also will begin collaboration in transfer to an electronic form of services of regional public authorities and local government.

According to the Vice president for federal programs of Rostelecom Alexey Nashchekin, "already more than 40 subjects confirmed readiness for collaboration with Rostelecom on projects of "the electronic government". "We understand that having only combined efforts of all subjects we will be able to create the single system allowing all citizens of Russia to receive federal, regional and municipal services in electronic form", - he emphasized.

The solution for creation of a regional segment of infrastructure of "the electronic government" developed by Rostelecom allows each territorial subject of the Russian Federation to create a basis of such infrastructure in the region, to provide its integration with a federal segment and also gives the chance of receiving services of regional authorities by inhabitants of the region via the uniform portal of public services www.gosuslugi.ru.

Distinctive features of the solution developed by Rostelecom are its compliance to the uniform technology policy accepted for creation of infrastructure of "the electronic government" and also observance of all necessary requirements for information security and personal data protection. The solution contains a full range of the services and technologies necessary for a possibility of rendering services in electronic form by regional authorities.
