2023: Astra Voice Assistant Launch

Tele2 introduced Astra's voice assistant on January 27, 2023. It has an advanced set of functions - it indicates the address reason why the user does not answer the call, and can broadcast an individual message to selected numbers.

Astra will become an indispensable assistant for solving the problems of operator subscribers. Its capabilities are complemented by the functionality of the existing Tele2 virtual assistants. For example, specifies an address reason for failure and supports Favorites mode. With its help, the user will be able to record a separate audio message for selected numbers.

Astra was programmed as a witty and cheeky assistant who is well versed in new trends and technology. It is able to correctly answer calls, always on the subscriber's side, it can easily put spammers and scammers in their place. It will answer incoming calls if the subscriber is out of range, does not pick up the phone or drops the call. The assistant will help you find out the courier's contacts or the details of the entry to the beauty salon. At the end of the conversation, the client will receive his audio recording and text transcript in Telegram.

2022: Voice Phone Assistant Launch

Tele2 on November 14, 2022 launched a voice telephone assistant for its clients. Users will be able to connect the assistant to any Tele2 mobile number and entrust him with the processing of incoming calls. The voice assistant learns the purpose of the call and sends a transcript of the conversation to the subscriber in the messenger.

According to statistics, users receive more than 70% of calls from unfamiliar numbers. With this assistant, Tele2 clients will be protected from spam and will be able not to answer calls from people outside the contact list. At the same time, customers will know who called them and why. The assistant will answer incoming calls in three cases: if the subscriber is out of range of the network, does not pick up the phone or drops the call. Thanks to the service, Tele2 customers will not be distracted by spam calls, and an important call will not be lost, even if there was no way to answer it.

The main skills of the Tele2 voice assistant are to receive incoming calls, conduct a meaningful dialogue, find out the purpose of the call, reproduce the conversation scenario depending on the words of the interlocutor. For example, he will find out when and where to pick up the order, ask the courier's contacts, specify the details of the appointment to the doctor. In addition, he protects against spam calls: he will find out all the details about the next "approved loan" and reject the "offers" of fraudsters. The personal digital assistant has other useful options - he can call the caller by name. At the end of the conversation, the client will receive an audio recording and text transcript in Telegram.

The client can independently choose the character who will answer the calls. Each of the assistants is charismatic and differs in his manner of communication. During the trial period, the customer can replace the assistant, and the promo period will be common for all variants. The "Voice Assistant" subscription is provided with a positive balance. The subscriber number must be linked to a Telegram account.

Tele2 launched the service in beta in April 2022 and tested its work on its employees. The assistant has been trained on real-world situations and supports various conversation scenarios.
