SAP ERP works at Kirov Plant

JSC Kirov Plant implemented a management system based on SAP ERP a year ago.

The single system of management based on the software package SAP ERP is implemented in JSC Kirov Plant.

About the solution of implementation

System implementation was conducted in the directions: logistics, finance, property management. Planning processes, control and reporting were automated: purchases, accounting of material stocks and sale within control block logistics of the enterprise. A system automates accounting on main types: accounting according to RAS, tax, financial according to IFRS and managerial. In property management processes of maintaining the register of property, contract management, including lease, control of settlement under agreements were covered.

Beginning, implementation and result

The implementation project of the ERP system was initiated shortly before the beginning of the global economic crisis, and its implementation fell on its peak. Nevertheless, in the company there was a clear understanding of need to complete it, in terms of perspective development. As a result of a successful completion of the project the main business processes of the company are systematized, Vitaly Kogtev, the CIO of JSC Kirov Plant reported. As a result, the tool for cost control is received and the profit earning processes connected with asset management are improved.

Transition to the integrated automated control system for resources of the SAP ERP enterprise allowed to control both economic, and economic indicators of activity of separate services and the enterprise in general that, in turn, promoted the solution of a problem of increase in business performance during this difficult period.

The project is implemented within twelve months and is actively operated since January, 2009.
