2022: ERP system implementation

The Digital Food Industry team of the St. Petersburg office of the IT integrator First Bit has implemented an ERP system on the 1C platform at Murman Fish. As a result, a single information space has been formed for the interaction of enterprise services and transparency of key business processes has been ensured. The company "First Bit" announced this on November 15, 2022.

At the start of the project, Murman Fish LLC used the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management, introduced in 2018 by a local integrator. The system had reduced functionality and did not meet the needs of the business. Processes such as purchasing, production and sales plans were formed in Excel tables, registration of production operations was carried out in journals, there was no management accounting. The accuracy of the data suffered. The leader spent a lot of time to find out the current state of affairs.

I understood that we had a raw ERP. I have great respect for the previous contractor, but I must admit that local integrators do not have enough experience and competencies for our tasks. I needed a couple of hours of searching on the Internet to decide on a new contractor, - said Kirill Arkhipov, director of Murman Fish LLC.

"Understand what is happening in business and how things are in each of the processes" - this goal was set to the First Bit team by the owner of Murman Fish LLC. The implementation of the project took 8 months and ended with the creation of an information system that combined all the key processes of the enterprise: accounting and management accounting, production accounting and planning, warehouse accounting, transport logistics, maintenance and repairs, procurement and commercial unit. Management has received an effective management tool based on reliable data.
