2022: Launch of a set of digital systems for planning, managing and controlling passenger traffic

In November 2022, Datapax, together with IPOPAT JSC, launched a set of digital systems for planning, managing and controlling passenger traffic in the capital of Udmurtia.

The project is carried out on bus routes No. 8, No. 26 and No. 79 as part of the development of passenger transport in the city of Izhevsk. Buses were equipped with a dispatch system, media panels to inform passengers who show the movement of the bus along the route.

A comprehensive automated system will allow the city to effectively manage public transport: adjust routes, form a convenient traffic schedule and control the implementation of transport work. Based on the results of the pilot project, an assessment will be carried out and a further program for the development of digital services for urban passenger transport in Izhevsk will be formed.

The implementation of this project will improve the work of the enterprise in terms of planning and managing passenger traffic. We will be able to better monitor workflows and make the necessary adjustments in a timely manner. All this together will increase the quality of passenger service on bus routes and make public transport in Izhevsk more comfortable and convenient. In the future, we will extend this project to other routes served by IPOPAT JSC, "said Ruslan Giniyatov, Executive Director of IPOPAT JSC.
