2022: System Creation

On November 22, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced the creation of a unified information system in Russia. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the first services within the framework of this project will be launched before the end of 2022.

As Chernyshenko noted, one of the most important tasks is to ensure the demand for the results of research by scientists by business and industry. For this, the government has launched a number of programs that provide for the creation of consortia of scientific and educational organizations with industrial enterprises and technology companies.

Russia creates a unified information system for managing science

Such cooperation will provide the science of the customer who will introduce the results of research into the economy. To solve these ambitious tasks, a unified information system for managing science is now being formed, "Chernyshenko said.

Earlier, he said that a single digital service containing information about both individual Russian scientists and scientific teams and the technologies available in the Russian Federation is planned to be launched in 2022. This service is designed to facilitate the work of researchers.

And in order to finally see through, we need to ensure the possibility of integrating all services into a single space, - said Chernyshenko.

These should be not only the services of scientific organizations, universities, funds, companies, but also development institutions, the Deputy Prime Minister added.

To implement such services, it was planned to launch the Science and Innovation domain on the basis of the secure unified digital cloud platform Gostech. According to Chernyshenko, this will save the time of an individual researcher, reduce the bureaucratic burden on him, establish his connection with other scientific teams, quickly find customers for research and development, financing, ensure the protection of scientific results, gain access to support tools at the regional and federal levels.^[1]
