Transtechnical service (Directum)

To integrate and arrange business processes of territorially remote divisions, to save and develop managerial opportunities and also to reduce risk of loss of confidential information the company management Transtekhservice made the decision to implement an ECM system.

Having considered several products presented at the domestic market specialists Transtekhservice selected an electronic document management system and interaction managements of DIRECTUM. A ratio the price/functionality, the clear interface, a possibility of flexible adaptation under requirements and the customer's purposes and also integration system performance became important advantages of DIRECTUM to Transtekhservice company. It was entrusted to partner of DIRECTUM to perform delivery and system implementation – Projects and Solutions companies.

System implementation of DIRECTUM began fall of 2009.

Automation of all complex of the processes connected with registration of the entering and outgoing documents (letters, agreements, requests, commercial offers), issue and control of execution of tasks became a main objective of an implementation project. Also the project objective designated creation of the uniform corporate knowledge base which will become afterwards a part of the training program and personnel development of the company. For achievement of effective objectives the Basic modules DIRECTUM, the module Office and service of DIRECTUM Storage Services storages providing storage of big arrays of corporate data were selected.

Today all main project works are completed, setup of a system is made, processes of approval and signing of orders, signings and executions of requests for repair of the equipment and requests for providing office equipment are transferred to an electronic form. The translation of the DIRECTUM system in commercial operation is planned for February, 2010.

Further Transtekhservice is going to expand an automation scope, to optimize and transfer the business processes which are not affected in this project to a system and also to increase number of users of the DIRECTUM system.
