Day of the personnel worker — on October 12

This day in 1918 the solution of the National commissariat of justice adopted "The instruction About the organization of the Soviet Workers' and Peasants' militia" and the first personnel offices of law-enforcement bodies are created. For the first time the tradition to celebrate the professional holiday "Day of the Personnel Worker" appeared in HR departments of law-enforcement bodies. For the first time the tradition to celebrate the professional holiday "Day of the Personnel Worker" appeared in HR departments of law-enforcement bodies. Gradually it took root at other enterprises together with the staff of HR departments of law-enforcement bodies passing to them. As the holiday "Day of the Personnel Officer" in Russia is not approved officially, in addition to October 12 it has several other dates more or less popular in the different cities of Russia. So, for example, a number of sources suggests to celebrate this holiday on May 24.
