2024: Cardiometabolic Risk Assessment System Finalised

The ITPS Group has completed work within the framework of the Innovation Assistance Fund to create a system for assessing the development of cardiometabolic risk (includes the risks of developing cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes). The system is designed to improve the operation of the digital service BIOT based on artificial intelligence technology and continuous remote monitoring of health indicators. The developer announced this on June 26, 2024.


When implementing the project, studies were carried out with the participation of volunteers aged 23 to 64 years. The studies involved volunteers - people without chronic diseases and people with risk factors such as being overweight or obese, having high blood pressure, smoking or heredity, and people diagnosed with diabetes mellitus.

According to the results of the project, the accuracy of assessing the development of cardiometabolic risk by the BIOT system was brought to a level of more than 90% and is comparable to standard methods, and the accuracy of determining the pulse with the bracelet was confirmed at a level of more than 95%. During the work on the grant, which was carried out for two years, the mobile application for the customers of the service was finalized.

Thanks to the implementation of the project, a technology has been created that can automatically determine the level of risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, which helps the work of doctors. The BIOT system monitors changes in dynamics, demonstrating improvement or deterioration of health parameters. This allows healthcare professionals to adjust treatment and prevention methods in a timely manner, and patients to make lifestyle changes. Comprehensive research and development within the framework of the project is aimed at extending active longevity, improving the quality and life expectancy of people, - said Dmitry Tachkin, head of the ITPS Center for Digital Solutions.
