2022: Charge of the chief accountant of the orphanage in embezzlement of 34 million rubles

The chief accountant of the Khazret Sovman orphanage in Krasnoyarsk is suspected of embezzling about 34 million rubles, an employee of the orphanage transferred the institution's money to a personal account, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs said in December 2022.

Employees of the Economic Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Krasnoyarsk revealed the fact of embezzlement of funds on an especially large scale from the accounts of a private orphanage. About 34 million rubles were stolen. According to the portal "Prospekt Mira," an employee of the orphanage came to the police with a confession.

In early December 2022, the Krasnoyarsk entrepreneur "borrowed 1 million rubles from her and refused to give it away. The entrepreneur turned to the director of the orphanage. According to Dobrynina, the director told her that the chief accountant was sent on vacation, she is suspected of embezzling more than 16 million rubles from the institution's account.

The Hazret Sovman Orphanage was opened in June 2003, its founder is the charitable foundation of the same name. 70-80 pupils live in the institution (by December 2022). The total area of ​ ​ the complex is 33 thousand square meters. m. The area of ​ ​ the building is 7 thousand square meters. m. It includes swimming pools, a medblock, a library, a computer room, sports and gyms, a cinema room, a social living room, a dining room, a dance and vocal studio.
