2022: The launch of the production of medical beds for 1 billion rubles

The Medstalkonstruktsiya company has launched the production of smart medical beds in Ufa, which, according to the manufacturer, have no analogues in Russia. The volume of investments in the project amounted to 1 billion rubles. The press service of the Republic of Bashkortostan announced this on December 12, 2022.

The adjustable height model is equipped with built-in scales, electric drives, CPR function for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, nurse console and display, allows you to keep the patient in five positions, including vertical. The main consumer of beds will be intensive care, resuscitation and rehabilitation units.

In 2023, it is planned to organize mass production of functional beds and increase production by 30%. The monthly production of furniture products at the plant exceeds 10 thousand units, and the entire range - more than 80 thousand units. The production capacity of specifically functional beds is not disclosed.

According to Mikhail Matveyev, general director of Medstalkonstruktsiya, a full production cycle will be organized at the enterprise. The company will produce components for new products on its premises, for this a workshop with an area of ​ ​ 12 thousand square meters. m. With the launch of a new production as components, the plant will purchase only electric drives, and all iron and non-metal components are assembled at their own facilities in Ufa.

In 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed at the Industrial Hour in the Government to involve Medstalkonstruktsiya in the development of design solutions for the repair and construction of medical organizations. As a result, together with the enterprise, a standard design project was developed and approved by the Ministry of Health for organizations providing primary health care, as well as a design project for "clean rooms" for the construction and repair of infectious diseases hospitals, - said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Minister of Industry, power and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev.[1]
