Vavilov Andrei Nikolaevich

Biography

Born July 22, 1966.

He graduated from the Kirov Polytechnic Institute (1992), the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (2001) and Vyatka State University with a degree in jurisprudence (2020). Over the years, he headed the Small Business Development Fund, held the position of regional business ombudsman (2012-2017), as well as leading positions in commercial companies and large enterprises.

From 2002 to December 2022, the head of the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized businesses "Support of Russia" in the Kirov region, is the vice-president of the regional Association of Participants in the Presidential Program.

2022: business ombudsman of the Kirov region

Boris Titov, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of Russia, agreed on the candidacy of Andrei Vavilov for the post of business ombudsman of the Kirov region.

On December 15, 2022, Andrei Vavilov was appointed regional business defender. The idea of ​ ​ coordinating his candidacy was sent to Boris Titov by the head of the region after a public discussion of the programs of two applicants for this position, which took place in October 2022.

Following the discussion and taking into account the opinion of entrepreneurs of the Kirov region, the candidacy of Andrei Vavilov, chairman of the Opora Rossii regional department, was chosen. It was he who was nominated by the Vyatka Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union.

As of December 2022, he is raising four sons.
