2022: The release of the SCADA system based on the industrial Internet of Things
The Roselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation announced on December 22, 2022 the launch of a SCADA system based on the industrial Internet of Things. The solution provides monitoring of engineering systems of buildings and technological operations in production, as well as during the operation of industrial and civil construction facilities. The system can replace imported counterparts, including those developed by Siemens, Huawei and other foreign companies.
The SCADA software module performs the functions of automatic data collection, processing, backup from various engineering equipment control devices. It was developed by specialists of NPP Istok named after Shokin (part of Roselectronics) on the basis of the domestic platform of the industrial Internet of Things IIoT.ISTOK. The application solves the tasks of dispatching civil and industrial construction facilities, as well as housing and communal services, automation of buildings and technological processes (APCS).
SCADA systems are used for control and monitoring in industries where numerous remote facilities are networked. They are used on electric distribution stations, oil and gas pipelines, in utility systems, and so on - where automatic control of technical processes in real time is necessary. The introduction of the software solution "Roselectronics" will help maintain stable operation of equipment at enterprises and increase production efficiency, said Rostec executive director Oleg Yevtushenko.

Module IIoT.ISTOK.SCADA is responsible for automated remote control of facility engineering systems, centralized operational control of technological processes, interaction of engineering systems with each other, as well as with the complex of safety and fire alarm systems.
The SCADA module is integrated with the Data lake, which is part of the IIoT.ISTOK platform - a repository that collects unstructured information of any formats from different sources.
NPP has developed a fundamentally different approach in terms of SCADA - now the module is part of the industrial Internet of Things IIoT.ISTOK platform and uses the "Data Lake." Big data collection and analysis allows you to identify trends in equipment load, determine the impact of indirect and long-term factors and adjust the production process. The industrial Internet of Things platform IIoT.ISTOK is included in the register of Russian software of the Ministry of Digital Engineering of Russia, and our SCADA module is able to replace specialized foreign-made software in the future, including products from such developers as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Huawei, Fibaro, Autodesk, Ecodomu, Genesis at civil and industrial construction facilities, told the director of digital transformation of NPP "Istok" named after Shokin Vitaly Alexandrov.
