System solutions of IRM were developed taking into account requirements of the deregulirovanny markets and support both operational management, and strategic planning in the environment of the multiproduct markets. The functional area of solutions includes structuring purchases (the forecast, the mode of purchases, accounting and maintaining constantly becoming complicated purchasing schemes, including balancing and drawing up diagrams), trade operations in the energy markets with support of portfolio management and with risk management (including complex functionality of risk assessment and optimization taking into account risks) and also strategic planning and the analysis of investments.

IRM was founded in 1998. The company began work at the beginning of 1999 in a circle of 11 employees. For the next years IRM became the successful company, having won the status of one of the leading solution providers in the whole Europe with more than 50 examples of implementation in 16 countries of Europe, the staff of her employees totals more than 110 people.

In 2007 the IRM company was purchased by OpenLink company and became child.
