JSC Nizhny Novgorod Machine Building Plant conducts system deployment the Galaktika ERP. Functions of the Galaktika ERP system for accounting in production, calculation of actual cost and obtaining the corresponding reporting are implemented.
To the project
Earlier at the plant the limited functionality of this product was used. Means were applied to logistics management, accounting and payroll. With a system about 80 users - in two different bases worked at different versions of a system.
Under pressure of market factors the decision on expansion of a management system and continuation of implementation of ERP for conducting production planning, cost control and cost reduction was made.
By results
To the middle of 2008 works on consolidation of databases and reduction to the uniform version of the Galaktika ERP system were carried out.
Within these works about one hundred additional jobs are automated, support of tasks of management of production logistics, calculation of actual cost, accounting in production, contract activities is implemented.
This part of functionality of a system is put into commercial operation in the first half of the year 2008.
