CADLib Web is an up-to-date portal solution that allows you to interact with a single information model from any device with a browser. It provides the ability to configure the level of access, as well as update the necessary documentation in a timely manner.
2022: CADLib Web Portal Solution Release
CSoft Development announced on December 27, 2022 the official release of CADLib Web. Common Data EnvironmentCADLib Model and Archive moves to a different level of interaction, which in turn opens up additional opportunities for users.
The CADLib Web portal solution is designed for remote access to BIM models in order to obtain and verify information from the project database, analyze engineering data and conduct expertise.
CADLib Web allows you to solve the following problems (depending on the configuration):
- geographically distributed works;
- Remote access to BIM models and documents, point clouds, and other engineering data
- personal account for examination;
- Tools for measuring and placing notes
- possibility of online posting of comments, photographs, acts, protocols, drawings, diagrams and other documents;
- Displays geometric collisions found in the project.
CADLib Web does not require installation and works through web browsers on any device.
From a licensing point of view, CADLib Web is a server license that differs in a set of functionality.
The following configurations of the CADLib Web portal solution are provided:
- CADLib Web - Portal - designed to view BIM models through a web browser;
- CADLib Web - Design - developed for the design stage.
- CADLib Web - Expertise - designed to carry out the expertise of projects based on the mechanism of recording comments and responses to them;
- CADLib Web - SUID - provides information support for the processes of construction, operation, reconstruction, decommissioning.
It is possible to use CADLib Web along with the desktop license CADLib Model and Archive. This will make it easier to interact with customers.
CADLib Web gives users the opportunity to get information on the project or check the complex model via the Internet using only a web browser. The user can connect to the project from various devices to access the 3D model, documents or to issue comments with the ability to add files, links and photos taken on the mobile device, noted Maria Subbotina, specialist "SeaSoft Development."
